A
former Physical Education teacher with ten years experience, Jonathan
Bence, noticed first hand that the harsh Australian sun was burning our
eyes. The glare and reflected light reaching our eyes while outside, particularly
in the school yard was alarming. He set out to research this subject,
however he was unable to find any companies that dealt with this issue.
He was then motivated to start up his own business in an effort to prevent
school students’ eyes from being damaged.
Since
it’s beginning in 2000, Streamline is now the number one supplier
of sunglasses to Australian school students. The goal is to fill the gap
in current school sun protection programs by including the wearing of
sunglasses.
Streamline
is able to provide the entire family with a quality range of sunglasses.
All children and adult sunglasses come with free name engraving, a soft
case, 12 month guarantee and reach Australian Standards.
Streamline
has established it’s own Ambassadors to assist with its program:
Don Elgin, Paralympian and Nick Dal Santo, champion AFL footballer.
'Streamline
sunglasses are fantastic quality at an affordable price. I have
the confidence that my eyes are always protected."
Don
Elgin, Paralympian
